The Property: 

The Bison Plains Lodge of Moorhead Minnesota is a 60-unit hotel featuring fine amenities at competitive prices. This is a two-story property laid out in an attractive “L” configuration with the main entrance at the inside corner of the L. The front lobby is warmly decorated with a high vault ceiling looking up to the open second floor hallway. Clerestory windows provide plenty of light, so the space is bright and welcoming. The current owners began renovating rooms in 2021. As of January 2023 eleven have been completed and an additional three rooms are undergoing renovations. The remaining rooms are in exceptionally good condition and receive positive reviews from leisure, corporate and contractor guests alike. 

The hotel was built circa 1979 and a new roof was installed in the fall of 2019. The current owners have replaced 37 HVAC units since 2019. Many other capital improvements have been done as well. 

The Location: 

Moorhead Minnesota is part of the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Area on the western border with North Dakota. The regional population exceeds 233,000 and has grown 34% since 2000. The hotel is conveniently located seven-tenths of a mile south of Interstate 94 (Exit 1A) on Highway 75 (8th Street South) near restaurants, fuel and other retail services.
