The Crossings by GrandStay of Waseca, Minnesota was quietly marketed with no internet exposure. The seller had concerns that general marketing would be to disruptive to employees and operations in case a satisfactory offer was not received. The seller had listed the property previously (not with Leines Hotel Advisors, Inc.) and received unsatisfactory offers. He did not want a repeat of the concerns this caused with employees. Buyers were screened and tours were restriced to prevent disruptions. An acceptable offer was received and due diligence proceeded sufficently so that closing was assured before employees were notified.
